In the new main event, 4th ranked Curtis Blaydes takes on 7th ranked Chris Daukaus.
Blaydes has always had his issues with the power punchers in the division only losing to Derrick Lewis and Francis Ngannou.

His elite-level wrestling has always given most heavyweight problems.
Shown well in his last fight against Jairzinho Rozenstriuk who he was able to ground for a good portion of the fight and took away the heavy-handed kickboxer biggest weapon.
Getting a unanimous decision victory.
Daukaus is coming off his first UFC loss.
In his main event fight against Derrick Lewis.
Where he lost via 1st round knockout.
This won’t be his first fight against a grapple heavy fighter.
He does have a win against Aleksei Olekinik and Shamil Adurakhimov.
Both via knock out.

The heavyweight title picture is still up in the air.
Everyone is waiting to see if Francis Ngannou will return to the UFC.
If he does he’s likely to take on the winner of Tai Tuivasa and Derrick Lewis.
