The IBJJF European Championship kicks off today in Lazio Italy.
With the coloured belts all competing Tuesday through Saturday.
But the black belt adults division opening matches up will be held on Saturday and the remaining matches on Sunday.
All medalist matches will be held on Sunday.
With the finals being the only bout happening on the mats at that moment.
I’ll be going through the men’s bracket today and the women’s tomorrow
To watch this it will be streamed exclusively on FLO Grappling.
Rooster weight
Rooster takes place only on Sunday and starts on mat 1 at 9.30 am local Lazio time.

Light Featherweight
Light Feather all light feather competitors except 1 seed George Hiago will have their first match Saturday on mat 1 starting at 12.20 pm local Lazio time.
On Sunday half of the bracket will have their matches on mat 8 starting at 9.40 am local Lazio time and the other half will have their matches on mat 1 starting at 9.50 am local Lazio Time.
With the Final taking front a centre of the tournament.
This goes for everyone black belt adults final match.

Featherweight
Featherweight has two brackets as it’s a more popular division so ill break it down by each bracket.
Bracket 1 on Saturday starts at 12.40 pm local Lazio Time on mat 2.
Then on Sunday the quarter, semi matches will start to happen on mat 8 starting at 10.05 am local Lazio Time.
For bracket 2 on Saturday it starts at 12.30 pm local Lazio Time on mat 3.
Then on Sunday the quarter and semi matches start at 10.15 am local Lazio Time on mat 1.


Lightweight
Lightweight also has two brackets so ill break them down by brackets again.
Bracket 1 on Saturday on mat 8 at 12.10 pm local Lazio Time.
On Sunday the quarter and semi matches start at 10.30 am local Lazio Time also on mat 8.
Bracket 2 starts at 12.30 pm local Lazio Time on mat 6.
On Sunday the quarter and semi matches start at 10.40 am local Lazio Time on mat 1.


Middleweight
Middleweight also has two brackets.
Bracket 1 on Saturday at 2.00 pm local Lazio time on mat 1.
On Sunday the quarter and semi matches start at 11.40 am local Lazio time on mat 8.
Bracket 2 on Saturday starts at 1.30 pm local Lazio time on mat 3.
On Sunday the quarter and semi matches start at 11.50 am local Lazio time on mat 1.

Medium-Heavy
Medium Heavy also has two brackets.
Bracket 1 on Saturday starts at 2.00 pm local Lazio time on mat 6.
On Sunday the quarter and the semi matches will start at 12.00 pm local Lazio time on mat 8.
Bracket 2 on Saturday starts at 2.25 pm local Lazio time on mat 8.
Then on Sunday the quarter and semi matches start at 12.15 pm local Lazio time on mat 1.


Heavyweight
Heavyweight has just 1 bracket on Saturday everyone will have one match except 1 seed Adam Wardzinski.
It starts at 1.30 pm local Lazio time on mat 7.
On Sunday half of the bracket will start at 12.30 pm local Lazio time on mat 8.
The other side of the bracket starts at 12.45 pm local Lazio Time on mat 1.

Super Heavy
Super heavy has just 1 bracket on Saturday everyone will have one match except Erich Munis and Fellipe Andrew.
It starts at 3.50 pm local Lazio time on mat 8.
On Sunday half of the bracket starts at 1.00 pm local Lazio Time on mat 8.
The other side starts at 1.00 pm local Lazio Time on mat 1.

Ultra Heavy
Ultra Heavy has just 1 bracket and starts on Saturday at 3.30 pm local Lazio Time.
Then on Sunday half of the bracket starts at 1.15 pm local Lazio time one mat 8.
The other starts at 1.30 pm local Lazio time on mat 1.

If this is your first time watching an IBJJF event there is a lot of switching around from mat to mat if you want to watch multiple people.
