UFC Heavyweight Prospect Alexander Romanov is set to take on his biggest test yet against 14 fight UFC veteran, Ilir Latifi.
Romanov is currently 4-0 in the UFC and has finished 14 of 15 career wins.
He couldn’t manage the finish against Juan Espino, winning via technical split decision after he was unable to continue due to an accidental low blow from Espino.
Latifi has broken his 3 fight losing streak in a recent split decision victory over Tanner Boser.
It’s going to be an interesting match as both fights do their best work on the ground.
One key stat to take away from this:
Latifi has never been taken down in the UFC, this includes his fight against Corey Anderson who was one of the strongest wrestlers in the light heavyweight diversion.
This fight goes down on February 19th at the UFC Apex, no main event is set for the card yet.
