Rafael dos Anjos Vs Rafael Fiziev Set For Main Event | UFC

Rising prospect Rafael Fiziev is fighting in his first main event against 6th ranked Rafael dos Anjos.

The fight is scheduled for February 19th at the UFC APEX.

Currently ranked number 11 Fiziev is on a 5 fight streak against:

1. Alex White
2. Marc Diakiese
3. Renato Moicano
4. Bobby Green
5. Brad Riddell. 

His last performance against Brad Riddell was his most impressive yet. 

Winning via a spinning wheel kick in the 3rd round after showing his impressive striking ability throughout the whole fight.

Dos Anjos was out all of 2021 and hasn’t fought since his split decision win against Paul Felder back in November 2020.

In his return to the lightweight division, he was scheduled to face Islam Makhachev last year but had to pull out due to injury.

A bout made 3 times all ending in cancellations.

Unfortunate, because it was a fight many really wanted to see.

At 37 years old, RDA has one last run at the title, and he’s happy to face anyone.
