Reading Time: < 1 minute

Ranked and fan favourite heavyweight trolls 11-2 UFC fighter, Carlos Felipe.

This comes off of Felipe losing his last fight to Andrei Arlovski, and failing his second USADA drug test.

His first drug test failure came back in late 2017 when Felipe was meant to make his UFC debut.

He tested positive for a stanozolol metabolite.

Stanozolol better known as Winstrol. Which is an oral steroid.

He was suspended for 2 years was unable to fight until September 2019.

In 2020 he made his debut against Sergey Spivak a match he lost via unanimous decision.

Now Felipe has his second suspension, which lasts 18 months.

He was fined $4,200 from his fight purse and a $489 prosecution fee.

After Felipe tested positive for Boldenone and its metabolites.

Felipe maintains innocence but says he doesn’t have the funds to pay for his legal defence and further testing.

After this second suspension, I’m unsure if Felipe will fight in the promotion again.

As Felipe stated he couldn’t slip up again otherwise the consequences would be dire.

He will be eligible to return to fighting in April 2023.
